Clindamycin 2% Cream / Gel

Clindamycin 2% cream or gel is a topical antibiotic used to treat bacterial vaginosis or acne vulgaris. Containing 2% clindamycin, it inhibits the growth of bacteria, such as Propionibacterium acnes in acne or anaerobic bacteria in vaginosis, by blocking bacterial protein synthesis. Applied to clean, affected areas (skin for acne or intravaginally for vaginosis) as directed, it reduces inflammation and bacterial load. Common side effects include dryness, irritation, or mild burning. Avoid contact with eyes or mouth. Use under medical guidance, especially in pregnancy or with a history of colitis.
